How To Lighten Dark Underarms With  Natural Ingredient

Lemon and Baking Soda



Lemon is an amazing natural cleanser and mixing it with baking soda can make an outstanding scrub to get rid of dark underarms.

Procedure 
  •  Get a small amount of baking soda
  •  Add fresh lemon juice
  • Rub the scrub under your arms for 2-3 minutes.
Note: Repeat once or twice a week for best results.

Apple Cider Vinegar



ACV contains mild acids that will remove the accumulated dead skin cells and also lighten the darkened underarm area. Additionally, it will also act as a disinfectant and kill the microbes present .

Procedure 
·       To the baking soda, add the vinegar
·       Let the mix bubble.
·       Once the bubbles have subsided,

Baking Soda

  • Mix baking soda and water to create a paste
  • Apply to your underarms.
  • Gently scrub for a minute
  • Wash off with clean water and pat dry.
  • You can dust baking powder on the skin for a lighter appearance.
Alternatively, you can use rosewater instead of water.

Note: Repeat 3 to 4 times a week. You can simply wipe your underarms with baking soda and water solution.

Milk


The vitamins and fatty acids present in milk can help minimize underarm darkening. It will soften the skin and make the skin tone much lighter.

Procedure
  • Mix two tablespoons of full fat milk
  • Add one to two tablespoons of flour
  • Add one teaspoon of pain yogurt to make a thick paste.
  • Apply it on your underarms
  •  Leave it on for about 15 minutes before wash it off with cold water.

Note: Repeat a few times a week on a regular basis.

Alternatively, soak a couple of strands of saffron in two teaspoons of milk for 15 to 20 minutes. You can also add a little honey. Apply the mixture on your underarms and leave it on for at least 20 to 30 minutes before washing it off. Follow this remedy daily until you are satisfied with the results

Turmeric




Turmeric is commonly used in face masks to lighten and brighten up the skin tone and also fade away spots. Regular application on the underarms will definitely lighten the dark skin. Milk contains lactic acid that further aids in the underarm whitening process.
Requirements
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1 teaspoon honey (optional)
Procedure

Gram Flour Or Chickpea Flour

  •  A pinch of turmeric.
  • Apply this paste to your dark underarms

Lemons



It is the ultimate natural bleaching agent. You can use it to whiten any parts of the body, and that includes underarms too.

However, lemons are also good antiseptic agents, thus they get rid of odor from your underarms.
All you have to do is just rub a slice of lemon against your armpit, and leave it on for about 10 minutes before rinsing.

Note: But however, bear in mind that lemons can dry out your skin. Therefore, we advise you to apply some moisturizer or body lotion afterwards.


Cucumber


The natural bleaching properties of cucumbers lighten the dark discoloration under the arms. Cucumbers help many health and beauty problems, including dark underarms.

  • Cut a cucumber into slices

Tomato juice



Procedure
  • Extract the juice a tomato
  • Apply it under the arms.

Almond Oil


Almonds contain potent phytochemicals that lighten and brighten the dark underarm skin in just a couple of applications. They are natural bleaching agents. Also, the vitamin E present in it will keep your rejuvenated .

Procedure

Massage the underarm area with almond oil for 5-10 minutes.

Sunflower Oil

It can also neutralize the odor from your armpit area.

For this remedy , mix in a bowl two tablespoons of yogurt with one tablespoon of honey.

Apply onto your underarms, and leave it to dry.
Rinse off with cool water.



Aloe Vera


Aloesin found in aloe vera gel is a tyrosinase inhibitor, an enzyme that is responsible for skin pigmentation. By hindering the activity of this enzyme, aloe vera can lighten discolored armpits. It is also antibacterial in nature and soothing for inflamed/irritated skin.

Procedure
1.    Cut open the leaf and extract fresh aloe vera gel.
2.    Apply a layer of this gel on your underarms
3.     Let it sit for about 10-15 minutes.
4.    Rinse with water.

Note: Repeat this every alternate day. If you do not have an aloe plant at home, you can also use organic aloe vera gel.



Papaya



Papaya fruit contains the enzymes that help to lighten and exfoliate skin.

Procedure
  • Take a piece of papaya
  •  Rub it directly onto the armpits.
  • Alternately, just apply the juice.
  • Let it sit for about 15 – 30 minutes
  • Rinse with water thoroughly.
Note: Continue this process repeatedly 3 – 4 times a week to clear the darkness in the armpits.


 
Orange Peel

Orange peels can be used to lighten the skin under your arms, thanks to their skin lightening and exfoliating properties.

Procedure
·       Put some orange peels in the sun for a few days until they dry out completely.
·       Blend the dried peels into powder form.
·       Mix two teaspoons of powdered orange peels with enough rose water
·        Milk to make a thick paste.
·       Gently scrub your underarms with the paste
·       Leave it on for about 10 to 15 minutes.

Multani Mitti

Procedure
  • Squeeze oil from vitamin E Oil capsule.
  • Rub a little bit of oil on your underarms
  •  let it sit for few minutes.
  • Rinse with water
Note : This oil not only whitens the underarms but also makes your skin soft and smooth when applied regularly.

Castor Oil


Castor oil absorbs all the impurities present on your skin and even cleans out your pores. All the dirt, excess oil, and dead cells are removed to reveal lighter skin in your underarms. It is also an excellent skin conditioner.

Procedure
·       Rub the underarm area gently with castor oil for about five minutes.
·       Shower as usual.
Note: Use castor oil every day to lighten underarms.

Egg Oil




Egg oil contains omega – 3 which helps to promote the re-epithelisation (new skin cells) that makes the skin smooth and light.

·       Add the tea tree oil and shake it well.

Moisturize:

 Use natural moisturizers like aloe vera, lecithin or coconut oil to moisturize the underarms at least 2 times a day.

Stop Shaving & Start Waxing:

Shaving thickens the hair and causes discoloration under the arms. But waxing removes hair from the roots and accumulated dead cells leaving lighter and softer skin. If you have a sensitive skin, ask your beautician to use some herbal wax or special wax formulation made for sensitive skin.

Skip Deodorants:

The chemicals present in deodorants darken underarms. Natural deodorants and antiperspirants that include baking soda, coconut oil or rose water can be a better alternative.

Avoid Hair Removal Creams:
 They contain harsh chemicals which lead to rashes, itching, irritation and other skin disorders. It is best to adopt waxing instead of them.

Don’t Skip Shower:
If the weather is hot, you should bathe more often. Neglecting bath can lead to accumulation of bacteria causing sweat and pigmentation. Mix few drops of any citrus oil to your bathing water for a heavenly smell and to prevent dark discoloration under the skin.

Let The Skin Breathe:
Avoid wearing tight clothes especially synthetic ones.
